Bio
The GEAAT (Study Group on Archaeology, Antiquity, and Territory) of the University of Vigo is a research group made up of 42 researchers who contribute diverse perspectives, all linked to the study of the territory and natural resources of Galicia, from the first human occupation to ancient times. This group is part of the Campus of Water, an initiative aimed at giving the Ourense Campus its own identity and scientific personality through the creation of a university campus with the capacity for external projection and for generating economic and social value as a driving force for territorial development in the province of Ourense, with water as its central theme.
The goal is to foster a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and integrated network of research, teaching, and knowledge transfer units, with special attention to internationalization.
