Bio

Since 2019 I have been delivering living history sessions to museums with a group called Weorod. Within this group, I have interpreted and analysed dig reports from sites, mainly in southern England. My particular interests are in recreating a range authentic artefacts as well as producing textiles and craft items using period-appropriate technologies.

Currently, I am leaving primary teaching to deliver history workshops to children aged between 7 and 11. I am also looking into starting a Masters in experimental archaeology.

Although my experience is predominantly in the early Anglo-Saxon period, I am currently researching and developing skills used in prehistory, and creating artefacts form the prehistory period.
