Since 2019 I have been delivering living history sessions to museums with a group called Weorod. Within this group, I have interpreted and analysed dig reports from sites, mainly in southern England. My particular interests are in recreating a range authentic artefacts as well as producing textiles and craft items using period-appropriate technologies.
I have started my own business which delivers history workshops to children aged between 7 and 11. I am also volunteering at Stonehenge as part of a six-month project building a Neolithic Hall.
Although my experience was initially based in the early Anglo-Saxon period, I am researching and developing skills used in prehistory, experimenting and analysing the techniques, and creating artefacts form the prehistory period.
