Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and Chinese studies, currently pursuing Master’s degree in cultural anthropology (LMU Munich). In addition to my current focus on Japan, I have studied endangered cultures and languages - Nahuatl, Quechua and Inuktitut.
My current field research employs ethnographic documentary filmmaking.
I am an author at the „University live“ column in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung with an interest of presenting the anthropological perspective to a wider public.
Fields of interest: ethnoarchaeology, applying vernacular knowledge for (re)-creating humane architecture and landscape. (So far mostly amateur!) experimental archaeology projects with my smaller brother and sister – from recreating cave art to building earth stoves, tree houses and reed boats inspired by the expeditions of Thor Heyerdahl.
Looking for like-minded amateurs and professionals for creating joint projects and initiatives.
Available for work in open-air museums or at cultural heritage events with demonstration skills in
Communication and Outreach, Education, teaching, and training, New Media, Sustainability
