EXARC Introduces More Accessible Membership Rates for Student Associations
At a time when inflation is increasing prices across many sectors, EXARC has decided not only to keep all membership fees unchanged, but also to make membership more affordable for small student associations.
Until last year, all student associations paid a fixed membership fee of €90 per year, regardless of the number of members in the group. This could make joining more difficult for smaller associations with limited budgets. With the new membership structure, EXARC now offers more flexible and accessible conditions, allowing smaller student groups to join the network at a reduced rate.
The updated categories are:
Student Association Membership (up to €90)
This change especially benefits smaller student associations. Associations with nine members or more continue to pay the standard fee of €90 per year, while associations with fewer than nine members are invited to contact EXARC at info@exarc.net so that a lower membership rate can be agreed upon based on the size of the group.Individual Student Membership (€10)
Available to students in any country who are actively enrolled in an educational programme. This category includes the same membership benefits as before.
Through these changes, EXARC hopes to encourage greater participation from emerging student communities and make international networking and collaboration more accessible to young researchers and heritage practitioners.
