At Ulvsborg you visit a nobleman's farm as it might have looked in the period 1050-1250. On the farm, chickens run freely while goats stand and chew lazily. The adults go about their daily chores and the children run around barefoot. Even though there is a fight for kingship in the world outside, everyday life goes on on the farm.

Ulvsborg Historical Workshop is the country's only experience center where you can visit Denmark during the transition period between the Viking Age and the Middle Ages. Here, everyone can join in building, forging, spinning and cooking. The farm and gardens are cared for and maintained, and sword fighting and archery are trained for times of war.

On approximately 24 hectares, in beautiful nature, with fields, meadows, forests and ponds, Ulvsborg is a reconstructed environment around a fortified manor house with associated workshop buildings, gardens and livestock.

The military manor house "Ulvsborg" did not exist, and the site was then part of the now dammed Lammefjord.

Ulvsborg has an affiliated support association, Ulvsborgens Venner. The association consists of people of all ages who bring the place to life during our many events.

Ulvsborg is owned by the Ulvsborg Historical Workshop foundation, which aims to convey life in Denmark at the end of the Viking Age and the beginning of the Middle Ages.

Take a journey back in time to the beginning of the Middle Ages and experience daily life on the nobleman's farm
