I have worked as an archaeologist for the past several years and I’m currently involved in post-excavation work with Rubicon Archaeology. My work has given me the opportunity to engage closely with Ireland’s archaeological record and deepen my understanding of the people, landscapes, and material culture of the past.
Alongside archaeology, I have over 20 years of experience in living history and historical interpretation, with a particular focus on the Early Medieval period and Late Medieval Ireland. Throughout the years I have taken part in reenactment, educational events, and public engagement projects aimed at bringing history to life in an accessible and meaningful way. I’m especially interested in how experimental archaeology and living history can help bridge the gap between academic research and public understanding.
