I am a historical reenactor, researcher, and educator from Mexico. I am the founder and leader of Sólar Sinnis, a Viking Age reenactment group dedicated to the study, interpretation, and public dissemination of early medieval Scandinavian culture.
For several years, I have been involved in historical reenactment, experimental archaeology, public demonstrations, educational workshops, and cultural outreach activities. My work focuses on presenting evidence-based interpretations of Viking Age daily life, material culture, crafts, combat, navigation, social structures, and trade networks. I regularly participate in historical festivals, museum activities, educational events, and conferences, where I promote a rigorous and accessible understanding of the past.
I am particularly interested in the relationship between historical reenactment, experimental archaeology, and public history, as well as the ways these disciplines can help bridge the gap between academic research and wider audiences. Through my work in Mexico, I aim to encourage greater appreciation for historical craftsmanship, living history, and hands-on approaches to understanding the past.
I look forward to connecting with fellow researchers, reenactors, craftsmen, and heritage professionals through the EXARC community, sharing experiences, and contributing to the advancement of experimental archaeology and historical interpretation.
