I am an archaeologist with a Master’s degree from the University of Parma (Italy), with extensive experience in both archaeological excavations and survey work. I have a solid background across a wide range of historical periods, including the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman period, Middle Ages, as well as modern and industrial archaeology.

I have participated in excavations and archaeological surveys in several parts of Europe. I have experience in the planning and coordination of large-scale historical and archaeological reconstruction projects, and I have been actively involved in exhibitions, conferences, and workshops.

My professional specialisation includes archaeological landscape and mountain surveys, archaeological methodology, and the planning of archaeological mapping and excavation strategies. I currently work for Musea i Sogn og Fjordane, where I am engaged in the organisation of exhibitions, the development and implementation of museum projects, and museum education. More specifically, I work as a museum educator at Kvernsteinsparken and also collaborate with the Norwegian Armed Forces’ Historical Museum (Forsvarshistorisk museum).

I'm also a stonemason. Since 2015, I have specialised in traditional stoneworking, learning ancient stonemasons’ techniques in northern Italy. I apply these techniques to reproduce reliefs, architectural elements, and everyday stone objects, working with different types of stone. This practical expertise led me to bring my skills to Norway, where I now work at the most important centre for stone production in the Viking and medieval periods, contributing to research, interpretation, and experimental archaeology related to stone extraction and craftsmanship.
