Natascha van den Berg originally trained as a graphic designer and conceptual artist at the KABK in The Hague. Since 2006, she has been active internationally as a classical realist fine artist and teaches these skills.
Her preference for traditional skills and natural materials led her into the world of historical reenactment; she has been active in this field since 2010. Fate has taken her, in no particular chronological order, to the Iron Age, the Early Middle Ages, the Bronze Age, and the Stone Age. Collaborating within a tribe, learning from and teaching others, is her passion.
Since 2022, she has been employed as an Archeo-interpreter at the Archeon historical museum and creates reproductions.
In 2023, she earned her Associate degree as a Bushcraft instructor at Aeres University of Applied Sciences in Wageningen. She then started her own Bushcraft business with the goal of passing on ancestral skills and integrating them into modern life. A jack-of-all-trades specializing in bringing color to the world using natural pigments and dyes.
In recent years, she has given demonstrations and instruction at various historical open-air museums across Europe and has experienced what it is like to live historically under a wide variety of conditions.
