Food for Thought: ALHFAM 2026 Conference in Reykjavik, Iceland

The Association for Living History, Farm and Agricultural Museums (ALHFAM) is excited to announce its 2026 International Regional Conference, which will take place in Reykjavik, Iceland on September 23-26.

The inaugural conference will be held under the theme: Food for Thought: Bridging Cultures Across Time. The call for proposals opens on March 1, 2026.

ALHFAM is dedicated to strengthening connections within the international museum community, and the conference aims to bring together professionals, educators, and enthusiasts to explore cultural heritage, foodways, and historical practices across time and regions.
