Registration open: NEMO European Museum Conference 2026 on AI and the future of museums

Registration is now open for the NEMO European Museum Conference 2026: Human after all – Museums in the wake of AI, taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 11–13 October 2026.

The conference will explore how artificial intelligence and digital transformation are reshaping the museum sector, with a strong focus on the human role in this evolving landscape. Over three days, NEMO – the Network of European Museum Organisations brings together museum and cultural heritage professionals, tech experts and others interested in the topic to discuss how museums can respond to change, adapt their practices and lead with purpose in an increasingly digital world.

From cybersecurity and AI strategy to critical thinking and institutional change, the programme features panels, hands-on sessions and opportunities for exchange, alongside curated visits to museums and cultural sites in Vilnius.

Find out more, explore the programme, and register via the NEMO website.
